Here's where you'll find our listings for live orchids, and also orchid flasks! Tectractys - Denver Hanging Gardens Is a small semi-professional flasking lab with a good track record of success with many epiphytic and a few terrestrial orchid species, and a growing inventory of rare and desirable flasks and live plants. We only have very limited greenhouse space, and our live plants are still in nursery phase right now, but look for listings as soon as Spring 2023. Our flasking operation has grown out of collaborative efforts with other well-established flaskers, who have contributed knowledge and training in sterile technique, and a growing collection of international orchid breeders and seed traders with whom we trade for new and desirable species. We have our own live plant breeding program, mainly focused on angraecoids, miniature vandas, and dendrobium species. Our #1 goal, before profits, is happy customers and the delivery of beautiful plants that will thrive and live long lives in their new homes. We supply greenhouses all over the USA, including Hawaii, with the highest quality flasks which can be grown out quickly for commercial sale within 6-12 months, each flask usually has a few great specimen plants that can be held back for breeder collections. We usually sell flasks as 16oz polypropylene deli cups, with 25-30 plantlets per flask, most often they are "touching the top" of the flask when they are ready to go! We offer discounts to larger orchid greenhouses for buying out a whole grex at a time, or on regular or large orders. If we like you, we might even flask some pods for you at super-discount rates or just for a free flask or two~ We will only sell a species to one greenhouse on any given island of Hawaii at a time, so that they do not have to compete on price against each other, as a courtesy to our larger clients.
