The FBI received a slap on the wrist this week over flaws in surveillance applications. The flaws were discovered by the inspector general of the Justice Department. On April 3, Judge James Boasberg ordered the FBI to turn in the names of targets in the 29 applications which were audited by the inspector general due to missing files.

In a stunning new order aimed at high-ranking individuals in the intelligence community, presiding Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court Judge James Boasberg issued the first ruling against the FBI, claiming that they knowingly misled the courts in order to obtain a warrant and spy on President Trump's campaign in 2016.
