ARMED anti-lockdown protesters stormed Oregon Capitol today and declared it to be a patriot autonomous zone as they call for the governor's arrest. Pistol-wielding Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer members and other far-right groups tried to storm the state building twice from 9am on Monday, where lawmakers were holding a closed special session on Covid-19 measures.

What a difference three decades make. When the Berlin Wall was torn down on November 9, 1989, it symbolized the collapse of the Iron Curtain and the liberation of more than 300 million people from the tyrannical grip of communism.
