Here is a requested update on my Chysis bractescens and a few care tips. This will not be a full care tutorial as it will not be complete, I haven't bloomed this guy yet :) The Chysis bractescens is a deciduous orchid, this means that it will lose all of its leaves periodically, usually once a year and it wil have bare canes.

Today we take a look at the latest Encyclia type orchid in bloom and talk more about these orchids and their hybrids! ▼▼▼More info below!▼▼▼ Encyclia Serena O'Neil was picked by one of you in my recent orchid haul which you can watch here youtu.be/YEIrePkaVGI It is a hybrid that takes about the same care as a Cattleya, but it likes to stay rather more moist, though still airy.
