In 2019, HEQ was contacted by representatives for survivors of the persecution, torture and forced organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in China, hoping to raise awareness of their situation. Practitioners of Falun Gong, a Chinese spiritualist practice which consists of a combination of meditation and Qigong exercise, have been persecuted in China since 1999. |
